Bluejacked!
Wondering what to do with that new Bluetooth-enabled device? Try freaking out the guy next
to you at Starbucks by sending his Bluetooth phone or PDA an anonymous message. "Dude, nice hair. Ever
comb it?" Dubbed "bluejacking" by the growing community of pranksters who practice this dark art, the trick is made possible by Bluetooth's ability to
search for other devices within the few meters that it operates and send contact information to an unsuspecting user. Bluejackers leave most of the
fields empty and fill the first name slot with a message, which pops up on the victim's device if it is on and not password-protected. Of course, bluejacking has spawned its own community
at sites such as www.bluejackq.com. which instructs you how and where to pull off the prank."
