I have noticed a couple things about this new firmware:

Phone: R3C006
Bluetooth: R5D
Organizer: R3A06
CDA: R3B01

First one thing good about it is that the battery last almost twice as long as before. I charge my phone once every four days now under normal usage (Approx. 100 hour battery life).

However, I've notice that this new firmware is not as smooth as the previous one, the bluetooth fails sometimes. And I notice a bug with the bluetooth headset mode. When I'm switch to bluetooth headset mode during a ongoing call, the phone will fail to switch the microphone from the phone to the bluetooth headset. When this happens, I can hear the other person from the headset fine, but the phone is picking up the voice from the phone's microphone, and not from the headset. So, if I cover the microphone on P900, the other caller can't hear me, when I clearly have the bluetooth headset on my ear. This ONLY happens when you first make a call from your phone and then turn on your bluetooth headset during a call and transfer the call from the phone to the bluetooth headset.

Another thing that I noticed about this new firmware is that when you enter the service mode (by pressing [scroll up], [*], [scroll down], [scroll down],[*], [scroll down],[*]) and then go to the "Service Test" menu, and select "Display" test. The screen will show random flashing lines on the left side of the screen, and then few seconds, flashing center of the screen. I've done "Display" test before with previous firmware, and it worked fine, but this is definitely something new with this firmware. Could someone verify this? thanks!

I'd recommend sending your findings to the SE support group. I've had some good experiences with them.

my software is the same as yours and i have the same problem with you, however it seems like the signal bar is more "stabilize" this time, i use cda 16204/14 before and with my previous firmware, the signal bar seems to move very sensitively, however, with the new firmware, the signal or the rf strenght is still the same
worst than my good old R520m , on the same network on the same place at the same times.

Don't know about BT, but Service menu -> Display test same here...
Black horizontal stripes forming a vertical bar covers 1/4 screen, FLICKERING and seems to be runing upside down, then bar moves to 2/4 of the screen...etc. Looks pretty weird...If you press JogDial it goes to color test which looks ok.

Hello

I too have been having TERRIBLE performance problems with the Bluetooth. Most times it does not pick up when the phone rings and when I make a call, it does not connect. I have to manually initiate all connect sequences by pressing the button on the HBH-65 just to get it to work. What is SE doing? Why are they releasing what they have to know is an inferior S/W package. I am sure that if we are having this problem, the SE S/W developers had to have experienced the same things. It seems that SE does not care about its hardcore loyal fans/phone purchasers enough to get this issue resolved. The older phones(R520 era), and headsets(HBH-10 and 15) seemed to work the first time, everytime the way it is supposed to work. I am truly disappointed with the performance. As of this moment, I would not recommend SE to anyone.

I would not recommend Nokia ever, so SE is still safe(for the moment) in my book.

I too have been experiencing BT problems. My P900's paired with an HBH-35 and for no reason at all the pairing gets "lost" every now & then, causing me to have to re-pair the two. It's bloody annoying to say the least - particularly when I am driving, I get a call, press the button on the headset and then realise that the pairing's lost resulting in my having to scramble for my phone to answer the call. Definitely a problem with the lastest firmware me thinks.

Currently I have:
Phone: R3C006
Bluetooth: R5D
Organizer: R3A06
CDA: R3B01

Personally, I think before I did the firmware update my bluetooth works pretty well, however, after this firmware update, Not only my bluetooth works like crap, my P900 even crashes sometimes when I use Camcorder function.

I wish I could swich back to the previous firmware:
Phone: R3C006
Bluetooth: R5D
Organizer: R2B02
CDA: 162003/3 R2C01
