For those of you with the earllier versions that have had them for a while, I though I would note my observations on the US P900 in case it mattered to anyone.
First, I use to have a t68i and a Ipaq 36xx.
Phone : R3C006
Bluetooth : R5D
Org : R3A06
CDA : R3A05
so far, have loaded:
Handy Day Trial
Aquacalendar Trial
Sman
Opera 6 (came with phone)
The reception signal strength is better than the t68 was.
The bluetooth works flawlessly once I found where the voice control in the contacts section was.
No black line in pics. The ringtones are way too few. Especially for someone like me that does not yet know how to rip a piece of an mp3 (if anyone can help I would appreciate the info).
Have not got the email to work at all. I have a pop3 account with MSN but have had no luck in getting it working, and MSN tech support is of no help at all.
Still learning it, but very happy with my switch.
Anyone has any question, I'll be glad to try to answer them.

rip mp3:
google search for mp3 rippers.
there are a bunch of freeware tools, some of the more sophisticated rippers cost money, but they connect to online databases to exctract the album information.
you might also need to edit the sound file so it loops nicely and doesn't use up room on your p900, so you could use windows media player to convert a song to WMV (which is microsoft's equivalent of mp3), then open the file up in a sound editing software. most soundcards come with basic sound editors so you can cut away excess parts of a song.

@brian-
The biggest task you're going to have now is keeping it from getting it busted and having to ship it to Celestica for service. They will ruin your beautiful phone after waiting 60+ days to return it.

Stuff II do for your phone:
1. Purchase a 128mb Memory stick duo
2. Install Tracker 3.2 and some skins...I got this awesome one (in Italian, but still the best I've used here:
http://utenti.lycos.it/afsoftware/tss/
3. Install UnrealPlayer and then download the Ogg Vorbis sound converter. You can encode MP3 files into the Ogg format and reduce them by almost half their size. Unrealplayer recognizes and plays these files beautifully on the P900.
4. Upgrade your version of Opera
5. Set up your mail client for POP3 (its pretty easy and MSN can give you the pop and smtp server names)
6. Install QuickOffice, WorldMate and Agile Messenger.
Since you've already got Sman, I'd say you're pretty much set afterwards.
Lemme know if I forgot anything else.

thanks for the info man!
Actually, I got the pop3 working this morning...finally found a tech at MSN that knew what to look for.
When you got the software you refer to, did you put it on the memory card, or the phone memory?

You should look into insurance for your P900. T-Mobile (if you are so lucky to use them) offers insurance through Asurion for $4/month.
