my phone has gone crazy. When I make an outgoing call I hear it ring once maybe twice and then it disconnects. WHen I get an incoming call it rings once and if I pick it up it immediately disconnects, if I wait it just stops ringing after the first ring (the caller hears a ring tone then a busy signal).

Any ideas?

what network u on? whats the signal strength like?
try your sim in a different phone, see if its the same. thatll prove whether its your handset or a network fault.

TMobile, USA. Was working fine a few days ago. Had 2-4 bars while this has happened.

Will try the SIM out shortly. Does it need to be a SIM on a different network (non-Tmobile)?

there are many problems which can occur with cell sites which can cause calls to drop, contact customer care so they can investigate.

well all you really need to do is put your tmobile sim in another handset (doesnt matter what type) try making a few calls and see if u get the same problem. also try another sim (any network) in your t610 and see if the same happens again. if you get the problem with your sim in another handset this would show a network fault. if another sim gets the same problem in your t610 then its your phone thats at fault.
hope that makes sense!

Just another note while I try to find a SIM to test with.

When I make an outgoing call I hear a loud screaching & crackling sound. Almost sounds like a modem connecting.

hmm that sounds like it could be the network then. another question for ya, does this problem happen wherever u are or just in one certain place like at home? also where do u live, in a built up area or in the country?

Also I have to add, you said try a different networks sim card in the phone. That may not work if Tmobile have locked their mobiles and only Tmobile sims can be inserted and used.
