> Nokia NGage Games on P900
Bookmark topic
Hi all,
I was just wondering if anbody thought it would be possible to play ngage games on a P900 ? The games are actually Java based so presumably there is some kind of portability in them ? I have seen other posts about running NGage games ina Nokia 6600, which as far as I am aware runs the Symbian 60 Series OS, but presumably both the series 60 and UIQ OS have the same underlying core ? Therefore is it possible to code a loader of some kind, or emulator to run these games ?
Regards
Neil

Well. Not sure may be possible to emulate in software. Not sure about the architecture of the ngage but i should say it has a coprocessor to handle the calculations for the 3d graphics. So if you could get an emulator or the approprate ngage system libraries to work on the p900 or even getting it to take the game cards it would be very very slow. But you never know

It should be possible considering they had Sonic running on the SX1 earlier last year with full sound at full speed!

Yes, but how are you supposed to control using a P900? unless somebody can make a program so that you can use the touchscreen.
