Is it possible to use my PC's Internet connection to surf the Internet from my phone (P900) via Bluetooth ? If so can somebody post a link to a tutorial or the setup required to acheive this ?

Regards

Neil

The setup refered to is a bit long winded.
I have P900 and if the device is paired to a laptop or PC the Opera web browser will connect without any settings being required. If you have a Class 1 BT access point then browsing range should be good for up to 100mtr.

I finally got my bluetooth dongle and tried the instructions above. After quite a bit of fiddling I got it to work just as described! Many thanks!

Only think is it dosent have much range on it Guess thats what I get for buying a cheapo bluetooth dongle (£15!), don't suppose there is any way of increasing the range on it ?

How long does it take for the pages to load for you? For me sometimes it's really fast other times it either takes forever or it just hangs, anyone else?

Some pages are quick some 'hang'. Reloading page sometimes helps but not always. Seems to be a BT problem!

Cant say I have viewed many sites through the phone yet but the ones I have looked at are pretty fast! Mind you I havent used it very far from my bluetooth dongle, so I guess the speed and connection reliability will be affected by this ?
