I bought my T610 2 weeks ago and was very happy with it. Until i recently noticed that both sides of the phones, the whole stretch, has turned yellowish. It is rather very much obvious as im using the white aluminium cover and it is very contrasting.

It appears to me as sweat stains. I have tried using dish washing detergent and water to remove it but to no avail, i havent tried lighter fluid and etc as i have not yet bought them. So, is anyone having the same problem as me? Any solutions as to how to remove them? Will a cover change, change the side too? or does a cover change just cover the front and back covers.

I have never seen the problem before, are you a heavy smoker, as maybe this could turn it yellow.
You might be able to get a new centre piece, though it means removing lots of parts in side the phone, then refitting them in the new case.

im not sure if it is sweat stain, but it is turning yellowish.. another fren of mine has that problem too. and no.. im not a smoker..

it may not be obvious to users with red/blue covers.. but to those using silver.. should be quite obvious... and also.. one thing i dun get is that my phone was bought just 2 weeks ago... isnt it kinda too fast???

and this is exactly on the sides wghere you hold the phone, yes?

'm thinking food stains (grease) or something like that, or some other substabnce you have on your hands more than once.

we need to know what it is to A) know how to remove it and B) prevent them from coming back

if it's stuff that is now IN the phone-body a new housing would do it. I would not suggest aggressive detergents because they can damage your cover instead of cleaning it.

I suggest buying a new housing for the phone and use a plastic see through cover for the phone so that gets the stains instead of the poor phone.

i am not quite sure myself, But i have sweaty palms which might be the course and i dont usually eat and use my handphone. Im thinking of trying out some alcohol to remove it later..

cover change? i thought a cover change only changes the back and front cover which doesnt include the middle part? Btw, should i get a cover change from SE or just any phone shop?

Alcohol is just gonna wreck the plastic. You need to do the swap yourself or leave it alone. It's most likely from having greasy hands. I noticed once in a while the T610 makes my hands a bit sweaty but not enough to do anything to the phone.
