my girlfriend's mother entered some sort of code into her t68i in order to disable SMS. i'm assuming that since she was able to do this herself, there must be some easily obtainable code to re-enable SMS.
what is it?

Was this a code she got from the operator maybe? If so maybe contact them and see if they can give you the code to reenable it.

never heard of such code... I suggest you check the SMS settings, like SMSC number etc...

Well how exactly is sms disabled? I mean for example when you go to the sms menu does it say something like sms not allowed on this phone or is the sms menu physicaly not there? I have never used a T68(i) but I have a T610 and I am geussing they are similar and I have never heard of any public codes which allow you to enable and disable things. However look in the tips and tricks section and there are codes to get you into the test menus. eg test ur vibration, screen, ringtones etc etc Maybe and I am just geussing here there might be a option in there to enable it again.
Hope that helps.

To "daveboi",
The "codes" that you refer to aren't really codes. They just get you into phone's "Test Menu". That's it. As for being disabled, the phone would either be missing the menu option to SMS's altogether, or the option would always have the "disabled text" color.
