> How to tell BT headset is connected?
Bookmark topic
I have just bought a Bluetooth headset for my P800. However, I have found that no icon appears on the screen when the headset is connected. I don't know what makes me think there should be one - it just seems logical that the phone should let me know when the BT headset is connected! Is there any way that I can tell at a glance whether the headset is connected or not?
Cheers!

Hmm, you're using a P800? I don't have that, so I can't tell you about that. Considering that you didn't mention the type of headset that you have either, I really don't know what to say.
With my headset, (HBH-60), there is an LED which flashes red and green rapidly when it is not paired with a device. However, when it is paired and currently linked, it calmly flashes green. On my T616, it has an icon. Not sure why not on the P800.
Hope that this helps!!!

Thanks for the quick reply - the headset is a Skypower EZ-232. I have not heard of them before (got it from a friend!). The headset itself does show when it is connected - my problem is that when the phone rings I want to be able to be able to tell at a glance whether the headset is connected. The problem is that earlier on I received a call, couldn't find the headset and didn't even know if I should be looking for it because I couldn't remember if it was turned on or not - panic!
