I couldn't transfer ogg files with the regular software.
You tried using the phonemanager from Epocware?

Transfer them to either the documents or others folder, oggplay will find the files (press 'find new files').
Or you can rename the .ogg to wav or mp3 and transfer them to the audio folder, but then you need a filemanager to rename them back to ogg.
My advice is to get a filemanager anyway, absolute essential for a p800/900.
Either qfileman or sman, both freeware.
Just use search and you'll find 'em after a while.
Have fun and goodnight!

A good, cheap, and much quicker solution would be to buy a usb2.0 memory card reader (mine cost around a tenner, though i think there are probably cheaper ones now, but on the good side, it can read/write to 7 different types of card)...

You will have to use the adaptor that came with your memory stick duo, to make it normal size, but other than that it is flawless...

When I had the p900 first, i tried transferring mp3's to the phone, and it took bloody ages... but whip the likkle duo into my card reader/writer, and i can fill a whole 128mb duo in a few minutes...

And there are no restrictions on the type of files - .ogg etc... you transfer, as the sony software doesn't act as the middleman...
