We already have a thread discussing your problem, and by sure luck it's called exactly the same title of this thread. If you use the search you should find it.

maybe it was cuz u tried to jam your memory stick adapter into there!
What do you mean by doesn't work? install a file manager and see if you can see any files at all. If you can but they are messed up then it's probably corrupt and you have format it.
And if u seemed a little more grateful people might be a little more willing to help.

I have heard of this before with people who use XP and a MS card reader/writer. Apparently you need to leave the MS in the drive just a few seconds after it claims it has written the files as there is a bit of a delay othewrwise you may have problems (I assume there is a possibility of corrupting the file table or similar). Do you think this what happend you MS Duo?

whenever using my card reader I allways "eject" before taking it out. I assume then that all reading/writing will complete and it's safe to take out.
But this guy doesn't have a MS card reader, how do i know? well he didn't have a clue what the memory stick adapter was for, kind of gives it away! (unless u have a duo reader)
