> Help - T300; InfraRed can't be turned off !

Okay, here's what happened;
I got my Z600 two weeks ago, and i tried to send my contacts one by one from my T300 to the Z600.
After a few, it stopped working, an it froze in the "searching"- mode, so I removed the batteries.
Okay, everything was fine, but still Infrared was on, but I didn't turn it on!
And it doesn't switch off after 10 mins, it runs all day.
Has anyone an idea what to do?

Did you try doing a soft reset? Lock the keypad first, then press and hold the power button until the phone turns off. Wait a few seconds, then turn it back on again.
If that doesn't work, try removing the battery, again. And this time, don't put it back right away (keep it out of the phone for a minute or so).
Hope this does it for you, otherwise you may have to take your phone to a
service center/point and let them sort this thing for you.

This did not work. Don't know why though...

I have tried to keep it away for 5 minutes, when turning it on, IR was again turned on. §$%& !
Well. I don't have warranty anymore, but I will try the
service center. But if it costs me much money to fix it, I'm gonna dump it, I think.
Got the Z600 anyways, but the T300 has been a great compagnion in the last year. What a pity
