I was in a seminar last week and i tried recording the talk. my memory stick has about 13MB left so thats 13 mins of video recording. At the first 7 mins, the recording was doing fine. But when it reached 11 mins, my phone hung up and it was automatically restarted. Then i found out the the recording was not saved at all.

Tried the same thing back at home and same thing happened. The video recording of P900 is suppose to be flawless because it supports video recording up to 128 mb. And i was just trying to record 13 mb and my phone hangs!

Try recording awith your p900 and share in this post if you have the same problem.

Do you think i can ask for a replacement for my p900 because of this malfunction even though my P900 is already a month old?

ive had the same sorta problem but i figured out that the video dosnt save unless you stop the video, not just quit.

Yeah i notice that too. But are instance that during the recording "in use" would prompt on the screen but i was not in any way touching the keypads.

Think i have to observe it more before i go to the service center?

what happens is after your finished with your video recording you press stop

then the light on top left is red,,

in saving, takes a lot of time

this means the bigger the files the longer it takes,

so wait untill it goes back to green then resume as normal

after the long videos i suggest (like 30 mins etc)

after the recording saves switch it off and on again..

i know its a pain but an important movie, you might aswell
