I noticed something in my t610: to get the joystick to work right and up i had to press it several times and hard...it seemed to work better but after a while it started all over. I searched here for related posts and found info: although i'm owner of a water proofed t610, i figured the problem was dust. I turned it off, removed the bat and got a toothbrush with alchool. Then i gently cleaned the joystick with it, getting inside. After i dryed it with hair drier and used a vacuum cleaner. And IT WORKED :-) This message was posted from a T610

i always use a little brush to brush all the phone under the battery, on lateral sides and under the keypad/joystick but u`ll see that in 6 months it'll become irrelevant as the joystick wears out.

@Bostein

I think it could work with any phone with joystick.

Nevertheless, there is some dirt deep inside that canŽt be extracted this way. So, although my joystick is working a lot better, next time iŽll go to the SE Service to upgrade firmware iŽll ask them to clean my t610 in the keyboard an joystick
