My contract runs out in a month and I have a P800... it is a good phone but It is a bit bulky I noticed... I have the clie UX40 as well... The P900 is nice, currently £200 on £30 a month contract which is what I am on now... I was a bit reluctant to sell my P800 to top up to get a P900 but If I want to get the P900, I think I will need to sell the P800, if not, I'd be giving it to my family and downgrade in terms of size... so what do you guys think? Is it really worth upgrading for £200 ? I still can't belive it is so expensive considering it is getting a bit old:)

Old P800 owners will not anymore be that amazed the first time they get hold of a P900.. at least for me. Though there are quite some changes, it is not enough to be called major.. IMHO, its absolutely not worthy of its price tag. Get an XDA II instead, hehe (have one, and loving it)

You guys are complaining about £200... The price tag here reads something very close to 1,000 USD. This message was posted from a T310

if you're this much in doubt, you probably shouldn't get it. Ask yourself: do you really NEED it?

IMO the P900 is worth every penny, I use my one much more than I did my P800. But if you are happy with two devices, a mobile phone a very good PDA then may be you should think about getting a normal mobile phone rather than a Smartphone.

I used to have the P800 and still have it as a second mobile. I must tell you that now I have the P900 and is a great mobile. Is really worth buying.

I am complaining about the price tag is because I am paying monthly... which means the price tag should be slightly less... I got my P800 for £140 this time last year (Has the P800 been release for quite some time already this time last year?) Thing I will need to take into account is the fact that I have the UX40 which is far superior compared to the P900 as a PDA... I found a few sites which is charging £180 for the phone on my current contract which I think might be worth going for... The screen looks pretty decent compared to any other phones anyway because it is sharp... I know it has all the cameras and that but lets be honest, it is not very good at all... I have all the seperate gadgets such as a laptop (GRT series), UX40, desktop and also a digicam (basic 2MP but better than the phone)... I am thinking of POSSIBLY using it as an MP3/ OGG player... or might wait for the HiMD when it comes out... do you guys know appart from looking better, has nicer OS and that electronic keyboard and not forgetting the screen, is it worth upgrading to it? If not, I'll be downgrading the size of the phone... any suggestions would be appreciated.

Judging by your posts you seem to be having doubts about getting the P900 listing its shortcomings against other phones

If you have to analyse every detail and try to talk yourself into getting the phone then i dont think that this is the phone for you

You either LOVE or HATE the P900 there is no middleground

What i mean is you either want the phone or you dont

I know the price is putting you off but £200 on a contract is better than £500 out of contract
