> P900 sync station install problem

I just bought a seconhand P900 and the PC Suite CD was missing.
I downloaded PC Suite from the SE website and also downloaded the DSS-20 driver from a driver site. The system recognises and install teh Dss-20 and when I cradle the prone the green led comes on. However the PC Suite software cannot see teh phone. I am running W2K. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I had the same problem. Remove all the software, and then reinstall it WITHOUT the Sync Station connected, once the software has been reinstalled and your computer restarted connect the Sync Station. This is how I did it.

Thanks Stan for the reply. I have tried your suggestion but no luck. I have made a contact who is sending me the PC Suite CD, so hopefull that will resolve the issue. Are there written install instructions for the sync station ?

I had similar identification problems with my P900 and computer. Now out of no where is working perfectly:???:. I still believe its a windows thing. Try to reinstall and restart the computer. It might work.

I had this problem and I was pulling my hair out - in the end disabling norton anti-virus and norton internet security worked for me but there are really detailed other threads about the topic which i would recommend reading.
