P800 in Canterbury Posts: 5

I have just purchased a Sony HBH-35 Bluetooth headset and am very dissapointed I can't listen to my Mp3's on my P800 with it! You can plug the headphones into the P800 and listen to the music so if it can transfer voice / calls to the headset why not MP3's - someone PLEASE tell me someone has some P800 software that can do it!!!????

Regards

No you can't. But if you do a search you will see why it's a good thing.

The reason you can with a lot of nokias is that they transfer ALL sounds, this is not only battery intensive but seems a bit of a waste. Se will only transfer sound when you have a call.

The next thing is that who wants to listen to sound in mono through a headset that doesn't reproduce sound very well? I have configured my bluespoon so i can listen to audio over my PC, but it was just for novelty, it had no real use as the sound was appalling.

Maybe you should think about reading product specs before you buy it. They have them for that very reason alone. At any rate, there are about 3 manufacturers working on BT stereo headsets. I think you may see one at the CEBIT in Hannover next month.
