I've just fitted an original Sony Ericsson Volcanic Red casing to my T610, however the colour of it looks slightly different to every picture I have seen of a red T610 on the net.

It appears to be of a slightly more burgundy/purply/pinky colour, rather than the bright orangey red that I see in pics.

So, if you own a red T610 or have fitted an original SE red casing, how does the colour of it appear?

I have made a comparison to make it easier:
http://www.urbanbomb.co.uk/redt610.jpg

An picture of a red T610 off the net is on the left, and on the right is what mine looks like.

Please let me know if I've got a dodgy cover, or if it's just my eyes or something to do with the way other pictured of red T610's were taken

How has that got anything to do with the question I asked?

Keep it on topic please, thanks.

It looks legit to me. I dont own a red T610 but have seen and held a few red T610. Seems like it is the same. The pics from the net seem to be airbrushed ? Yours looks better

Nah, the pics aint airbrushed, the one on the left was one I found (off threegmobile), I copied it to the right and adjusted the colour in Photoshop till it matched my actual phone.

Sanjeev, you say you've held red T610's, have they all been the same colour as mine (the pic on the right)?

I was kind of hoping for an orangey-red colour, I think it's nicer. But my main query is whether the casing I've bought is original or just a very good copy.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated

Looks like it was just due to the way other phones were photographed.
