Hi,
is it possible to move games or ringtones from a T610 to a PC.
I have bought games and ringtones and wish to back them up.
I use a data cable and FMA usually for pics and syncronization, but it does not deal with games etc.

Does anyone know of a method or a programme to do this?

I would appreciate the help....

You can transfer the ringtones but not the games. To do the ringtones in your sounds menu on your t610 click the right button on the ringtone in question then click on send then via, bluetooth, or Infra red, if ur usin cable then in FMA find the ringtone and then click on the download to pc button in FMA.

Thanks for that.

I'm using FMA 0.1.0.31d, and the ringtones do not show up on the phone explorer. The pics do, under OBEX. But no ringtones.

Am i missing something?

There should be three folders, pictures, sounds and themes. If the sounds folder isn't showing it may be something to do with what your using to connect. I know some cables don't allow you to do everything and some bluetooth dongles aren't fully compatable with the T610. What are you using, bluetooth infa red of cable? If not in your sounds folder have you tried sending them from the phone instead of trying to use software to send them?

I am using a data cable.
Using a cable i am not able to send files direct from a phone, i use FMA to move files usually.

I have run FMA in debug mode and the screeshot is here

As you can see it registers that it can read the sounds (and themes) folders, but only shows Pictures in the Phone explorer menu.

I confused...

I don't think your able to move sounds and themes with a cable. I think it is only a one way thing (pc to phone). I used to use a USB cable and I wasn't able to send anything from my phone to the pc thus why I brought a bluetooth dongle. Try the search I am sure I found a thread about a similar thing when I was trying to send pictures etc from my phone to the pc which said basically you can't with cable. I recommend really getting a usb bluetooth adapter. They are only around £25 and are way better than cable (and faster) in my oppinion.
