> BLUE LEDs in my Sony Ericsson
Bookmark topic
I've long been an upgradeaholic until I hit the big T610. The features are great, bluetooth is cool (blujacking isn't), screens nice and big but I could not justify to myself that a phone that cost so much and looked like a phone designed for a woman could sit on my desk and hardly be used. Then the P900 starts making waves, call me cynical but this new phones are coming out too often. So, guess what i've done? I've D...d...d.. DOWNGRADED!!!! OMG, I must be sick in the head! To what I hear you cry, a T300! Out of all the T phones I've had over the years of my upgradeaholism this one satisfied my hunger for technology the most. And I guess this is what I will stick to for the rest of my life, huh, that's plain silly you say? But all I want to do is make and receive phone calls, couple of SMSs to say i'm running late and that is about it. You see old men walking about with those floppy caps listening to ballroom music on old 78s when they get home to their gramaphone and cups of tea, well when I'm an old fella I'll be skulking about with my baggy jeans, listening to Hip Hop and chatting on my T300. But to make it a little more bearable I've just put in some Blue LEDs instead of those boring green ones, not as easy as changing a light bulb, that must be said!

Yeah, the green ones were hard to read during daytime (cause I don't know exactly where every single letter was)

Sorry to piss in your porridge mate, but the T300 is, compared to the T610, an all-round shite phone.
You remind me of the recent trend among poncey Hoxton media student fashionistas to go round using proper old brick phones, like Nokia 2110's, 8110's, Motorola Startacs etc.
Probably because all the latest phones with their colour screens and technological do-dads brought them to the brink of eating their own brains in confusion.

The T300 is hardly a brick, it makes phonecalls, that is what a phone is for. What is the point in having a car that can go 200mph when your happy cruising at 70?
No need to get all uninary.
If you're a girl you'll love the T610.

Actually, having said that, I kind of like the romantic idea of retrograding to an 8110 banana phone, bowling around with it dangling off my belt in a massive old-skool leather case...
Not.
