Since we are already 'almost' a week away from the day/affairs of the 'H E A R T S', may I take this very 'elusive' (not a garbage thread I suppose) opportunity to greet ALL of you - (so goes with the Mods), a Happy Valentine's Day. Special greetings goes out to the Lady Members in the likes of @vlammetje et al. Where will you celebrate it then? Me, maybe at home - still an eligible bachelor here mates, will just prepare a nice dish for my loving parents . . . How 'bout the rest ???

I don't need a special day to tell my wife how much I love her, or a special day for my mother, etc etc

its way too commercial if you ask me

@masseur & @skin - Some say that there is really 'no need' for them to celebrate Valentine's Day (giving it more of a special value) perse, 'cause for them "EVERYDAY" is a Valentine's Day . . . With your replies then, I am assuming here that you don't do anything on February 14th, just stays at home, and feel it just one of those ordinary days . . . Am I right here? If we can call it as a way of 'too' much of commercialism, then maybe we can put into context the same way we celebrate Christmas Day as well - Christmas is to shopping, while Valentine's is to 'fine dining' ??? I remain . . .
@boyi - it's you again . . . what "Garbage" ???, as in "Garbage Thread", oh noooooooooooooo !!! Please have a "H E A R T" !!! Murit & Takdaydamo !

Personally, I agree that commerce is exploiting Valantine's day (and mothers day, father's day etcetera) shamelessly.

Still, any excuse for some quality time with my significant other is a valid one so I'll grab the opportunity nonetheless

Finally....... unless I am totally wrong here, Valentine's Day is the 14th of February.

Don't you ppl feel you're just a bit too early??
