Hello!

I have a Z600 and recently tried out JBenchmark on it to see what the performance was like. I obtained a score of 388, but I was surprised when I looked at the other scores on the JBenchmark site for the Z600- some people had obtained results of 693! That's quite a leap in performance!

The only thing that I can think is responsible for the huge improvement in Java performance is the firmware version on the phone. My phone is running R2F002, so I was wondering if any users of the latest firmware (R5B001) could post their JBenchmark results to see if a firmware upgrade is responsible for the huge improvement.

Also, as a sidenote, my phone doesn't run through the animation test (the one with the spinning globe). Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,
Dave.

I used to have firmware R2D001 and did the jbenchmark and got 326, when I upgraded to R5B001 and got 671 on the jbenchmark over 100% improvement on java.
