is there anyone out there having no prob pairing up your p900 to your mac? are you using mac os 10.3.2, bluetooth setup assistant 1.4.1 (v1.4.1f1), iSync 1.3 (v122)? if yes, PLEASE holler up. and please indicate the software version of your p900. i really need hel here.
i cannot pair my device with my powerbook. it only recognizes it as an "other device" but never a "mobile phone" when i use bluetooth setup assistant. therefore, i cannot isync it. i'm getting frustrated already!
anyone kind please help me out?
i already tried pairing my p'book using my p900 but it still doesnt work with isync and vice versa.
i already tried removing the pairing from both toys and restarting. f**k. i did everything. what am i missing?

@mondo, I have exactly the same config but on a G5. It works ok here.P900 is recognized as a phone and even though the setup assistant does not give the sync option for adressbook and ical during setup it all works fine.
I have an external bluetooth (D-link) adapter and it works fine even though it loses connection to my wireless keyboard and mouse during the sync between G5 and P900.
Could you try it on a friend G5 or other G4 to see if that helps? And if you can lay your hands on a wireless mouse and/or keyboard and install those on your powerbook that might help as well.

I'm having problems too. It sync's one time, but after that, iSync cannot seem to 'update' on a previous sync, it just fails. The only time i got it to work, was finding and deleting iSync.ini on my P900.
^^ Trouble is, how the hell did i find that, to do it again? I wanna re-sync.
You guys might wanna note that Apple released the Bluetooth 1.5 update today, via Software Update. - Needs a restart tho, for all you uptime fanatics!

yup! i'm installing bt 1.5, i hope it works flawlessly with my p900. anyway, i got my p900 to work with my p'book yesterday! there was alot of deleting pairing going on, pairing via my phone, etc. i actually listed the events down. i'll post on it if anyone needs it on monday (i left it at work.. sorry!) but having the phone updated really helped.
