> Vodafone SMS menu update on P900?

I'm using a P900 originally provided by O2 on Vodafone. So far, this hasn't caused any issues but tonight I received an SMS from Vodafone indicating that they are upgrading their 'SMS menu options' and then a second text msg to indicate that I should switch my phone off and back on and the new menus would be available.
Being the docile user I am, I complied, only to find a new 'Vodafone' application in my apps list. When I try to open this, I get a pop-up indicator that 'Application couldn't be opened'. As far as I can see, my SMS functionality hasn't changed. Does anyone know what this fuss is all about?
