What is firmware exactly? What changes does it make to the fone? Is it free? Where and/or how do i get it? Is it worth it? Thanks

Firmware is the software kinda within your phone. newer firmwares fix previous bugs or add faster menus or slight improvements to the navigating on the phone. I hope that helps.. i'm not really a phone junkie

if your phone is under warranty then its free just bring it to authorize se service center in your area but if not they will charge you for the cost...... if your having problem/s in some of your phone features, then it worth upgrading its firmware/software to fix it.
