> T68i reboot problems
Bookmark topic
I just got a used Sony Ericsson T68i cell phone, and it worked for about a week, and then it died. I tried to recharge it and now all it does is get the little red light in the top corner of the phone, for about 2 mintues, and then it turns off, and the cell phone reboots. It keeps doing this over and over when it recharging and when i unplug the recharger. When I unplug the battery and plug it back in the phone, it is ok, but when i turn it on, the phone goes to a "Please Wait" screen and then to the bootup screen, and then it turns off. I thought the battery was trashed, but I got a new one, and that is not the problem. Does anyone have a clue to what i should do next? I cant reflash it cuase I dont have the cord to connect my phone to my computer. Please help!
Thanks.

I cant return it, because i bought it on ebay. I was hoping someone would know a fix, or something so that i would not have to buy another cell phone.

it could be something wrong in the firmware causing it to fail during power up. But it might as well be cause by a hardware failure. A firmware upgrade is recommended as a first step, if it still doesn't work it's a hardware failure, which can be expensive to fix if the phone is out of warranty.
