Hi all

For all those P900 users who have problems with their docking station connection - I found a solution i hadn't read here so I thought I'd share it.

If you have either iMesh installed or a piece of spyware called ShopAtHome, your phone won't work.

Best thing to do is uninstall iMesh and Spybot - Search and Destroy to remove ShopAtHome.

Reboot and Robert's your fathers brother.

This worked prefectly for me on using 2.1.1, winxp pro.

Well the majority of these problems stem through the use of a firewall... could be an ideal place to start problem solving hey!

I never said delete iMEsh, i said uninstall. Theres a big difference.

I came across the mRouter problem lots - try a search of these forums or Google it.

I've tried everthing, and no p900 PC connection through cable.
imesh, reinstall, other forums, new drivers, spyware and adware installations, nothing works.

Its shattering to see so many new functions on the forums and not being able to even install crappy ringtones from the cd given with the phone.

Anyone with any ideas, desperate.

I agree with Bagpuss on this one. I posted a similar repsonse. My problem was a piece of malware. You do need to run Spydot and check for hidden progs holding back the connection. Similarly, do check that both PC and phone are talking the same language ie flow control and connection speed are the same.

Good luck.
