The BOLD FONT and Shrunken Opera Fonts on my phone continue to plague me. Here are the solutions I've tried
SOLUTIONS:
Master Reset
Master Reset without MSD
Internal Formatting
MSD Formatting
Searching for offending file (WHAT IS IT?!) with File Manager
Copying a TTF File into Font folder. No Help there
Calling Sony Ericsson and speaking with "Joey". This pile of nads wouldnt know what to do with a P900 if you fed it to him.
Going to the my.opera.com forums
Flashing the Phone, also no use.
I am going out of my skull with this problem. Please I beg the phone experts of this illustrious forum to help with this.

I had a similar problem, after I installed a program, and this fixed it:
1-Turn the phone off.
2-Take out the memory stick.
3-Turn the phone on.
4-Reinsert the stick.

Yes mcrouper. I tried all that, still to no avail. What looks like happened is some program downloaded a font or font modification to the internal drives A or Z. I cant seem to figure it out. And my apologies for multiple threads, it just seems nobody is noticing, and unfortunately this forum is my only hope (obi Wan Kenobi style). Any other suggestions?

impossible. No program can write to A: or Z:
Use a file manager and delete the c:\system\fonts and d:\system\fonts directories.
Delete c:\data\opera.ini and c:\apps\opera\opera.ini
That should do it.
Good luck.

Here's the thing. There is no FONTS folder in C. Never was, the only fonts folder I can find is on Z: and it contains Linnea.gdr and when I try to delete that, it says it's "IN USE" besides something tells me I shouldnt delete that or I'll wipe out the entire font of the phone. Man I have tried everything and I can't get the font back to normal. Anybody else have this horror occur and found a proven way to fix it?

Yeah. I had isses with strange fonts. Deleted strange font types from mem stick (bit tricky cos it says in use, but u can remove mem stick re-insert and then do it)

The only font file it will even locate is LINNEA.GDR and it's found on the Z drive. It is a read only file and cannot be deleted. I think it's the font for the actual phone preinstalled at the factory. I can find no font files or folders on C or D. And I have done thorough searches on them all. I have done the whole removing and reinserting the memory stick thing and it still doesn't work. Something had to be imprinted somewhere, and I know it's in there, all I have to do is find it and destroy it utterly, but I can't friggin figure it out. Anybody else wanna take a shot? F**K
