you silly idiots who searching for @, stop sending people virus, its just boring, because it gives you false hope that you downloading a funny mail from a friend or something. and one thing, whats the point being sadistic if you cant see the pain? heard of norton or panda...?

Yeah, I think the ones im getting (5 in 3 days last week all from different hungarian email addresses) are from here too, cos this (and my wap site) is the only place I have my tones[at]jaggie.co.uk email address listed!

Its pretty sad really sending viruses to people

Im not sure what I've done to upset the Hungarian community, I've had over 6500 hits from Hungary already this month on my wapsite

and I'm sure most of them are very nice and it's just a few lettings them down.

I think such bombardment of the W32.Novarg.A@mm virus was fuelled by this thread.

Sorry wait, what's so special about your mac? I've had quite few of these email's, but not only does outlook automatically delete the email, so does norton. And if you were computer smart you wouldn't open attachments from people you don't know, isn't that just common sense?

However there is an autopreview in outlook which previews the message in a pane when you have the message highlighted. This can activate the virus and run its dirty malicious code.

That previews the text, not any form of attatchment... Plus you can allways turn that off, i find it a good feature though rather than a bad one. Norton integrates extremely well with outlook too, so I think it's quite safe.

It doesn't bother me, my computer is more than equiped to deal with it but there are plenty of people out there who get damaged by the pointless malice!
