> restoring phonebook contacts

i could be missing the obvious here, but when I upgraded from t68i to t610, I saved contacts onto SIM, and then copied from SIM to new phone.
But the SIM doesn't seem to support the groups (like 1 name has several numbers against it), so when I read from the SIM I get multiple entries of the same person for all the numbers entered!!!
Is there a way around this? (without going though each one in the phone!)
I have TDK Mobile, with a phonebook restore function, but to do this I have to delete everything from the phone memory, so don't really want to mess on with it incase it doesn't work!
Any ideas?

Yes, there is a way. I do this all of the time. Now, since you have two bluetooth enabled phones, get another SIM card (doesn't have to be activated). Put the SIM card in your old phone and turn it on. Have the bluetooth on in both phones, then go into the phonebook on your old phone. Find the option that says "Send All", and send all of your contacts to your new phone.
If this doesn't work, then simply send it to your computer, via bluetooth, IR, or cable (it will show up as a VCF extension), then send it to your new phone.
