> Unlock+firm on orange P900

I have just got a P900 on payasugo orange , i will be having the generic firmware put on it on monday but need to know something.....
I want to unlock it for my o2 sim as well , now if i pay to have unlocked and then take for the firmware upgrade (generic) will it lock the phone again ? should i have firmware updated and then unlock ???

The firmware will be getting done by
centre but they cannot unlock the phone and he isn't sure if the lock will re-activate ???? it doesn't sound promising for a
centre
