> sms is wierd!?

a friend of mine sent (at least i think he tried to) send me a contact from his Z600, and my P800 shows that i have a new sms, bt i cannot view it, bt however much i try to view it, it still only shows the new sms symbol, and it will not go from my screen.
does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Have you tried just turning off the phone, taking out the battery and just waiting? This is what I always do whenever my phone has a display that I can't get rid of.

Hi U may find if you scroll down to the oldest message you have the unread [unsupported] message is there underneath. Unsupported messages always go to the start/beggining of the list so you don't see it on your scrren at the top of the list where you would expect it. As soon as you click it your unread message sign will disappear.
Hope that sorts it.

yes, the faeries come up from the bottom of the garden and update your fiemware whilst the phone's off.
... and all the registers reset themselves to 0
