Hello again, I'm after some more help.

In your opinion, would it be good for me to buy a T610 which used to have a contract?

Also, would it work on my P.A.Y.G sim card, if it were unlocked?

What network is it on? I would buy 1 that is x contract, and yes it would work if unlocked. This message was posted from a T610

I'll find out in a little while for you.

It says 'out of contract extension, no contract tie, no sim lock'.

So I'm a little confused!

I'm got to sure, cuz i aint really heard of that mess. At a guess the fone is locked to a network and won't accept ur sim. Is that what u tried or does it say that on the fone anyway? This message was posted from a T610

It says 'no sim lock' so that means the phone is unlocked. If I were you I'd try to find out first if the software is 'branded' or not though.

Hello again,
It was from a T-Mobile contract, but is now being sold 'no contract and no simlock'.

Being as it is a Tri-band phone, it should work on my o2 simcard?

(great forum, by the way)

Yeah, it should work OK. i've got a T610 on Voda. I got it unlocked and it works OK on O2 as well.

If it was an old Tmobile phone, it will probably have one or two unusual icons in the screen that are programmed to take you directly onto the Tmobile WAP site. I had this with my Voda but got rid of it all by paying £15 to have the firmware changed back to original
