Im in the process of downloading a game of 887 kb its taken 5 min so far and its only downloaded 50kb its guna take over an hour at this rate surely it dosnt take that long?

You sure that you use gprs, one simple way to know is: does it compose a number, if yes, you are not on gprs.

maybe gprs availability is not enough if you try to download
at a peak time. also make sure your signal strength is high enough.
be sure you have enough free space in the phone.
by the way, what phone are you using? i see that you post from a nokia... you know, this is an Ericsson forum d;^)

It's to do with your wap gateway. I don't think ur using gprs, I think ur on wap, and your telecomms provider controls the size of ur gateway. i.e size limit on file download. I can only dload max 155Kb files with my gateway. Contact ur telecomms provider, they might charge you for it but should be able to give u a bigger gateway.
