Hey there,
Is there any place where I can download a software/firmware update? I have the sony USB cable.

service center.
You can upgrade it yourself but it will void your garanty if something goes wrong since you're not supposed to change firmware.
Otherwise search for how to remove the Vodafone branding and you'll find some instructions.
I have no good threads in mind at the moment, maybe someone else can give you some?
