I have a T616. I remember seeing a post similiar to this topic, but not this topic. They were talking about blocking calls which had witheld their number. I've been trying to create a contact which will show up when someone who has hidden their number, but to no success. I want to put a personal ringer on this contact so that I automatically know when the person has hidden their number. Any ideas? I personally don't think that this is possible, but then again, we post in this forum so we can get the ideas of our fellow...................phoners(?).

That would be a cool feature, don't think it's possible but would definately use it if it was available.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ringers are attached to 'cards' that you have put in your phone.
people that call you while hiding their number refuse to send you this 'card' hence.... even if you were to make a card called 'unknown' I do not believe you can make your phone link calls with 'hidden ID' to it. The whole point of hiding one's ID is that linking to any card is not possible.
So I'd have to say no, not possible.

I have to agree with Vlamm on this one. Try and use the "default" ring for these unknown calls/persons while setting up special rings for as many as known ppl.Most of the times when some1 unknown calls u, u'll notice by the default ring...
It's kindda useless anyway, isn't it? The special rings are for special ppl
