Hi! I wonder if anyone can help me with the constant error I'm getting whenever I reboot my pc:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:Program FilesSony EricssonMobileaudevicemgr.exe

this application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more inforamtion. "

I did contact the team..and they wrote back saying that they would post it into the troubleshooting team of sonyericsson...well....still waiting and I can't sync at the moment.

I just formated my pc recently....everything is working properly!!
I have the latest version of the PC SYNC from the web site...

Please!! Any clue about it???

This is a PC problem and not a P900 problem. SE will contact you, but they will first have to test it. That is, they have to get the exact same problem themself on a testmachine. Then format it, reinstall windows install the application etc over and over again until they find it. This can take quite some time, I know since I have made a few packages which needed to work with other programs in my years. It's a f***ng hazzle.

Tro to uninstall it, then remove everything you find on the computer down to register threads. Use regmon from www.sysinternals.com if you want to see what it installs and where in the registry. Same with filemon from the same page.
Install these programs, then run the installation. Save the log from filemon and regmon. Then send it to SE if your installation didn't work.
(hard way)

Or just uninstall, remove all traces which you can find and then install it again. (simple way)

Contacted SE. They suggested downloading the new PC Suite (40 Mb), uninstalling the old one and then rebooting to complete the process, having first removed the USB connection to the sync station.

I'm pleased to report that all now runs as it should. If this doesn't work for you, SE said they would guide people through the registry to rectify the problem there.

Nah, the same problem's back a few days later. Tried phoning on the local rate number. After **36** mins I gave up and sent a snotty email. Let's wait and see. The MPx 200 was tiresome at data input but at least it synchronised and the software worked!
