As you can see on the picture, my display is out of order or something like that !

Few days ago this black/yellow dot appeared and since then it is every day bigger. Today my display started to shake and now it terrible shakes all the time !!!!

I would like to ask you few questions :

1. can this be repaired via warranty ?

2. how much would it cost to be repaired with out warranty ?

3. i heard that sometimes display problems are so big, that it can not be repaired and the service gives you a new phone. is that possible ?

it really isn't a warranty service since the display has been exposed to some pressure at the bottom, causing the display to failure. The cost for a change of display is around €150-200, check with your local servicepoint for more exact price.

Seems like the backlight from your display is burning in on the LCD itself, meaning your backlight is becoming too hot while you use your phone, the LCD is already damaged because of this, this is why u get the bad image.

If u still have waranty on your phone then it should be replaced for free, ifnot then expect allot of money for a new LCD, i thought the are around 200$.

Do not expect that the will exchange the whole phone because it looks like only the screen is damaged, so the will only replace that part.

Dont ask us - email se straight away and check out your phone store because it is better to get it sorted 'before it is too late!'.

Well you can ask us, but better let a trained proffessional hold the phone and tell you exactly what is right, but cytech is right about the problems, but it should be in warranty.

Have you mishandled the phone in anyway?

It's called the "sunrise" effect. I dropped my P800 few days back and sent it back to SE service centre today and they replaced it free. (Still under warranty)

I just spoke to the bastards at the local SE service and they told me that it is NOT under warranty because it is kind of "pushed" so it is like my fault ?!?!
It costs about 250 € to repair !!!! Are they crazy or something ? I havent pushed my phone - i always have the keyboard on ! wtf ?!? what can i do ?

The only thing you can do is insist and complain.

If you put your mind into this then you will do it.
