I should've ask this question 8 years ago... but...

Where can I still find SH888 front housing/faceplate???

I have a I-888 at home that I want to swap out the flip for the nice black 888's housing.

I would love to use the phone but because of the huge flip I'm leaving it at drawer.

Thanks.

Yea I know it's rare, but I really can't stand the huge flip these days.

I fell in love with the SH888 first, but because I moved from Asia to Canada, I could only get my hands on the I-888.

I was thinking of places where I can find the part online, since nobody know what the heck I-888 is over here.

Oh SE North American service centers don't even carry any phone parts with phones that's not officially sold by any North American providers.

I did a quick search in ebay and found out this auction that's ended just few days ago! Crap!!!

I guess I'll just have to pay more attention...

there are some sh888's on ebay.de they are really cheap

(10 euros-20 if they are in perfect condition). you can even find some in france on ebay.fr.
I also recommend you an R320s or R520m, they have the sh888 spirit, but other than the features, they weight half of it...
cheers

and keep ur i888, its a gem!

Yea I have a R520 (it's sitting on the desk with my other E/// phones.)

I wish I can understand the language from those ebay sites.

And here's a pic of it, while I had my T68m->i at the time.

nice family pic
for the language problem, www.freetranslation.com would do it. i bought many cellphones from germany and austria and even switzerlad, the sellers are very open to international bidders. if the handsets are cheap, (i got a brand new R520m copper edition last week for 56 euros), it cost me 20eur of shipping and an additonal 20euros for bank transfer so try to convince the sellers to use paypal eventually...
