Hello All
I am wondering if i can use my laptop's bluetooth to connect to the internet with my T610. I want to download various stuff to my mobile and i do not want to pay stupid amounts of money for it. thank you in advance

You can use the T610 as a connection (modem) for the pc, but the pc can't act as a connection to Internet for you T610.

you can make it but it's useles because the speed is not so satisfying. Even with GPRS.
So get yourself a DSL Connection.

If you had a P800/P900 and Opera installed, the pc could be used as a router to the internet for you device.

Apparently i have not made my self clear...i do not want to use my mobile as a modem....i have a laptop with an 2mb ADSL....i want to browse the net with my T610 with out calling the WAP opperator...i am thinking that it might be possible to be done through my laptop's connection....i hope that this is clearer...if not do not hesitate to ask. Thank you in advance for your help

Wait a minute, in your first post (the original start), you say that you want to download stuff to your phone, without paying an enormous amount of money. Is what you're saying that you want to download stuff to your phone, but you don't want to use the WAP browser?
If this is so, then simply download the stuff, via the Laptop, then transfer them to your phone via bluetooth.

thats right, assuming its stuff that is not just available on wap.
However, using opera, its possible to pretend the pc is a wap device anyway. there is a thread that describes the procedure if you do end up needing to do that

If you just want to download stuff to the phone and not browse any wap pages wou can download it to the laptop and send it via ir to the phone.
