Last week I traveled a few hours by train and was playing with my beautiful z600 and noticed that the signal strength got higher and lower, nothing to care about.
also I noticed the gprs icon dissapeared and reapeared all the time, nothing to care about
But I noticed that when the grps icon dissapeared, a new icon I never seen before appeared for a tiny tiny moment.
After several minutes of staring on the display I found out what it was:
A grey phonepiece with a red line over it.
I can't find anything of it in the manual - does someone know what it is?

Think it means no signal not even for sos call . You cant pick up any network which you can roam no for sos only . Get it on my t610 sometimes

I had the same icon only for a second last week in my P900 when I went for ski. In some areas of the mountains the signal was going up and down and then the icon appeared.

'sos calls only' means you got signal but not on your own network.
the grey icon means no signal from any network at all. you found yourself a true 'silent spot'
