So I ordered a P900 on ebay using paypal 2 weeks ago. The guy i bought it from was sluggish when sending it out, then told me someone had tried to use a fake credit card to pay him so he wasn't shipping anything til he had that figured out. after a while i got restless and asked him to return my money and he wouldn't reply to my emails. Then i filed a complaint with Paypal and he sent back my money within a matter of minutes. The P900 is my dream phone, and i am so upset that i wasn't able to get it yet. If anyone has some words of comfort for me let me know.

Ehm...What about going to a store and buying it there. I dont get why some people act all weird when it comes down to paying a couple of bucks more or less. The p900 is expensive as it is..might aswell get it in qualified store.

I was going to buy a P900 on eBay as well - and was warned (by a friendly eBayer) that ther were a LOT of scams selling high value phones on eBay. I got mine from CFW and am very pleased with it. I agree that a purchase through a proper retail out let is the way for these things - they are expensive but you get the warranty with no hassle.

yeah. that's the way i'll do it next time. just waiting for the price to drop a bit. the cheapest i can find it is still$800. i was paying $650. but hey, i got my money back, so it was no real loss other than wasting my time. anyone know where i could get one for cheaper than $800?

I would say I have one for sale, but with the current exchange rates on the dollar i doubt you'd be able to give me a good offer, plus there are shipping fee's....

But if you are interested then let me know.
