Does anybody know how to setup a Bluetooth Sync with a Sony Vaio using the Bluespace software?
Cheers

I've done a P900 on a Sony Vaio Z1, so that's not too different:
Firstly and most importantly go get the latest bluespace software from the sony support site. cant' remember the version but it's somewhere around 1.4 or so. Then switch the phone BT on and detectable. Now use bluespace to search for devices and pair your phone (need to input a passcode). Now you have a range of services available. Use Direct Serial Connection and make sure the BT light flashes increasingly, then you should be connected.
Now in theory, PC Suite should detect the connection provided that you have bluetooth COM4 ticked in your connection monitor. Then sync normally. Once you disconnect, you have to totally exit bluespace and load it again in order to allow a new connection, don't know why.
If PC Suite does not detect the connection (which is what happened to me and almost drove me mad), you have too many COM ports occupied. Bluespace uses a virtual com port and therefore needs a free one. com ports can be occupied by certain software such as Palm Sync, etc. and hardware such as your modem. if worse comes to worst and you can't find the software that blocks the com port, go to device manager and disable your modem.
now you can also use the p800 as a modem via gprs via BT when you have it as a direct serial connetion, but I'm not gonna go into this here. just search the forum there's plenty of posts.
Hope that helps
