done the search, tracked the threads, downloaded from SE, etc....
must be something simple I'm missing.

Mine worked out-of-the-box, but only in my home market.

Did MMS configurator online, but no visible functionality changes. (Changes in settings are apparent.)

Everything worked for me also out of the box, like SMS and the internet. But not the MMS.

That is why I think it may be something simple

The error I get is access to my mms service has been denied and to please check the WAP/MMS settings.

do you have unlimited internet, or t-zones...

i know that the locked data profiles on T-Mobile USA phones don't always work, as in my case where NOTHING worked out of the box (my sms gateway was not even the right number). Do a 13 second reset and then download the config. settings for wap and mms from SE and it will work, that did the trick for my T68i and T610.

I think the simple answer to a simingly simple problem is that T-Mo just needs 2 flip a switch. A working internet + SmS doesn't mean T-Mo has MMS on for your account on their side. You need 2 call tech support and request 2 talk 2 a tier 2 rep. Tell them u think that MMS may not have been activated on your account. I believe MMS is shut off by default especially if u never registered a phone wih them. I think that shoul fix your problem. Worst case is that they'l end up resetting it on their end.
