I came across this pic of a T28 recently:

And I simply have to know what that colour is called and where I might possibly find an original cover in that shade, and the matching aerial.

Any Ericsson boffins care to shed any light?

Its marble beige. Not sure if you can find replacement casings since T28 is a pretty old model.

Thanks!

Did a bit of quick searching, and found several places selling marble beige antennae, but the two sites that listed the replacement fascias were out of stock. Oh well, there's always the hope that one'll pop up on Ebay.

Regarding the looks, the marble beige T28 is in my opinion the best-looking phone ever made, alongside the Nokia 8850. Sublime, clean lines and subtle tones. If only Ericsson A) hadn't merged with Sony, and B) continued down the T28/R320/R380 styling road instead of dumbing it down with awkward curves and questionable bulges in the likes of the R520 etc.

@Tranquil

I think it was the name of the light colored version of the T39, the T28 has another name (it has beige in its name but not sure about the marble part, might be correct though...)

@the people who think it is a T39

I hold a T28 in my hands right now and everything is in its correct place... The badge is on the upper-right corner, not on the flip... And the led is on the middle...

EDIT: Tranquil has edited his post while I was trying to type these in here... I wish I could type faster... Those pics weren't on there when I pressed "Post Reply"...

@iyiinsan
You are right, I did edit my post.
After posting my first reply i started thinking "No, this is wrong..."
Went to 's site to dobble check and realised I was wrong first time around. Since nobody else had posted any replies I edited my reply to contain full and covering info.

dnm123, as other have said it is indeed a T28. All of them have badges in the upper right corner and the LED in the middle.

A few hours after posting this thread I thought I'd better stop being a lazy bastard and have a look myself, and Marble Beige is listed as an official colour on the Sony Ericsson T28 website. Along with there being pictures of the marble beige T28 on the old Ericsson website if you use an internet archive service and go back a few years.

Still looking for a source for the fascia; found some more stockists but all are predictably out of stock.

If anyone comes across one, do let me know
