I just found out about the Sony QRIO robot.....yes I did a search and came up with nothing here on the subject.

Check it out and I'm sure most of you will also want one badly! However it'll cost an est. $10,000 UK pounds, OUCH!

I think this will be an amazing companion to a T630/P800/900 if it had BT imbedded.

This thing would be a blast to show off and interact with!

What do you think of it??

masseur, that version of the Aibo yuk. Cute, maybe too cute. I really like the armored version.....the one with MemoryStickPro support video camera for recording and WiFi built-in; the first version of the Aibo to support all of these, you know the one with the Pitbull look.

Oh yeah dollars and pounds don't go together, just used to putting the $ (I'm Canadian, habit.).

I would think that the QRIO is very useful. Maybe more so.

Yeah the QRIO is heavy. Go to the bbc website and its got a video of its release, see it in action. It can do all sorts like dance (its v.good) and apparantly its the first that have been able to run (i.e. two feet of the floor) !!!
