> Distorted P900 keypad tone

Hi,
A few days ago I noticed on my P900 that along the two grey vertical strips indentations were beginning to form and a slight crack where the keypad touches when you close it. I took the phone to a Sony Ericsson service centre where they replaced the front shell only which I thought was fine.
But now it seems when I'm using the phone with the flip closed a low, dull distorted keypad tone is heard unlike previously when a button was pressed it was sharp and loud. Adding that, when I select the "click" tone in control panel to be used this and other sounds are perfect. I have used Esato's search function and found nothing, I performed a firmware update last night and this did not resolve the problem. Any ideas of how or why this has happened?
