I am a uni student and bought a P900 last christmas on the o2 45 p/m tarrif, and I have just changed to a cheaper tarrif (£15 p/m).
My Question Is this - as a student a am very (very) poor and after buying a car (car insurance for a 19 year old isnt cheap) I am ever poorer and I have realised I have overspent.
So should I sell my car to pay my rent or my p900 (with 128MB Duo)
Advice Please!

i assume you use the p900 for calling and time-keeping, so it's not really a necessity in your life.
the car you probably need a lot more, so i'd sell the p900.
you could also keep both and sell your body
on the other hand, i once sold my minidisk recorder since i was desperate for money. i paid around $400, bought $100 worth of disks and headphones, and i got $200 when i sold it.
it did help me out for a week or so, but after that i missed it a lot.
so be careful that you don't overreact. maybe you should try to get a raise from your employer, or get a job in the first place
good luck. don't do anything you might regret later.

Priorities my dear friend...thats what its all about...but my advice would be to keep ur p900. Ur most likely to make a bigger impression with ur top of the line gsm than with ur low budget second hand beater(wich i presume is all u could afford...u know since ur a student)

Whatever u do.....good luck ehm wait....put it on lay away that might help...the p900 i mean...hrhrhr

thanks for your help
i'll think i wait a bit and see if something comes up (maybe ill win the euro lottery)
I think if it comes to it I will have to sell my p900 as my uni address is 300 miles from home and I REALLY hate taking the train anywhere

Put some movies on your P900, if you love movies. Then, you may discover that you cannot watch those movies while driving. Obviously, watch them while you are on the train going home

Try selling a kidney.
You have two and you can live with only one.

Well honestly, I guess you just have to sell your car, that will really put yourself down the grave - eventually, because of the bills that will be accumulated . . . Your phone will be more needed with less expenses to consume in the long run. Just take a look what happened to me when I used my Nokia fone while driving in the freeway . . . That car is not yet fully paid, luckily I am still alive today to pay all of my bills ! Of course the story is just a fiction mate . . . just sell your car anyway !

Wow, did you used to fight crime in that car? And did it talk to you and have a scrolly flashy light on the front? Also do you have an arch villain who looks just like apart from a dodgy moustache?
Talking about talking machines. My p900 sometimes speaks to me, either that or forget to put the keypad lock on.
1. Look at your bills and expenses, find what you can cut back on.
2. Beer is an expensive luxury so you could save a bit on that.
3. See if you can get additional funding like grants to get you through.
4. Get a job
5. Enter your car into illegal street races (*important - don't lose)
6. Get an overdraft, some banks charge 0% interest for students.

@chula
Yes I encoded fight club for my phone and after testing it is not very easy to watch a movie on your p900 whilst driving
but I imagine it would be easier on a train
@wildcard
1: i have no bills bar my phone contract at $15 p/m & insurance at £55 p/m
2: i suppose i could cut back on drinking - it dosent go well with driving
3:I could apply for a hardship loan at my uni if I make a good excuse
4:humm...
5:Dont think a ford fiesta 1.1 is going to win many street races
6: my overdraft limit is looming fast
@Krubach
Thats a bit drastic but ill bear it in mind.
I also thought i could sell my soul on eBay - someone is bound to buy it
