-the size of a credit card. even narrower. 89mm×47mm×22mm.
-2.3 inch screen (like the so505xx)
-the camera has integrated flash. i haven't found out how many mpixels the camera has. i guess it's at least 1.3.
-the infrared port is prepared for use as tv remote controller
-i'd say the external screen is a 128x128 4096colors like the one of the z200

EDIT: i'm sorry, i wrote something strange in the title instead of the correct title. and... why is the thread in "other manufacturers"? SE-Japan is also our favourite brand!

@Twista
Oh no, you don't have to wait for ages my friend. As a matter of fact, you don't have to wait another second, cause it won't ever come to UK, nor any other nearby country, nor the rest of the European continent! A1402s is just another Asian model, and that's where it will stay - Only in Asia...

PS. Generally, we don't have the flow of new mobile-models that they have in Asia. Neither any of the more advanced features (Ex. Higher-resolution cameras on the mobiles)

ITS NOT FAIR!! I want it! and the japanese will probably get it for a dirt cheap price. (you can get phones with tvs built in for less than £130!)

if u bought it from Japan (or in Japan) and brought it back over here, would it work? I mean some phones are quad-band now aren't they, so is there a chance it would work.

like most Japanese phones, it is almost certainly not a GSM phone so therefore it won't work outside Japan

sorry red hot... I don't think it would work, because they probably produce them exactly so that they cannot work over here (much like the DVD players). I guess that if you are japanese and travel a lot outside japan it must be frustrating. You have to buy some cheap-two-years-behind model just because it is GSM...

Quad-band are only produced here, as far as I know and are not even always the ones that have the most features.

I have to disagree with a previous post that suggested that we will not have such phones here in the future. I personally think that UMTS could be the technology that approaches japan and europe in matters of innovation.

Just a thought. It is SE, NEC, SAMSUNG and other manufacturer's fault if Nokia has such a big market share over here in europe. If just one of these models would hit, at a reasonable price, the european market we would never hear about Nokia again. It is not a post against Nokia, I just wonder why there is such a big gap between europe and Japan. Our market could be as intersting and as profitable as the japanese is if we only could have the same technology...
