> Uninstalling Internet Viewer?
Bookmark topic
I dont really use the Internet Viewer that comes with the P900 - i much prefer Opera!
I dont really see any point in having the other installed as it is a large file.
Is it ok to uninstall it and how can this be done?
Thanks in advance

of course you can!
use the sman's file manager to browse to c:/system/browser and delete it.
but be careful and take a backup first. i have not tried anything like that before, and it is not an uninstallation. just deletes some files on c in order to get some more space.btw they don't seem to occupy much space.the browser folder occupies about 60k in my phone and i always use opera, too.
tell me the results if you do so!

SE programs are stored in the ROM (read only memory) therefore its possible to delete them.
Only possible way is if someone comes up with a hacked firmware

Is it possible to change the default web viewer to opera? When you click on a link from an email, or a web address in the contacts it opens directly with the SE web browser. I would prefer to set Opera as the default when opening these...
Cheers

Un-installing it would be a bad idea.. how would you browse WAP content?
